This work is about shedding. For a long time I followed Plan A, the path I thought I was supposed to want, and these pieces come from what happened when I let it go and started trusting the journey instead. Each one is a small act of self-exploration, made by hand, one line at a time, with no sketch underneath. I won't love every piece, and that is part of it. The creativity runs through me and I feel called to honor it, because it is bigger than me. Every shape gets filled until it is full. If you find a single dot you love, something small that makes your day a little better, then the work has done its job.
